First, I quickly wanted to get management support, as a CSC assignment means a full month absence from project. Fortunately, everybody I asked was very supportive which convinced me to start the application website. The CSC staff did not hide the fact that it would be a highly competitive application process as several thousand IBMers apply each year and only a few hundreds can be selected. Nevertheless – I had nothing to lose!
